carried out the first ever salary survey of bid professionals in the UK
• needed a flexible, clear design to communicate its ground-breaking analysis
strategy
• The data was extensive, detailed and technical. It quickly became clear that the
presentation of the survey had to expose as much information as possible to the
reader via a highly rationalised, legible design
solution
The design started with a colour coding scheme that clearly identified key facts
and figures according to geographic location. Moving away from the standard
leafed-page document format to a single-sided fold-out meant we were able to
present all the key information on one side of the brochure making it easy for
the reader to compare and contrast data. The foldout format is suitable for
pinning to walls in work places. This not only helped in disseminating the
survey’s findings to a wide audience, it also helped raise Bid Solution’s profile by ensuring its brand was displayed prominently in potential clients’ offices.
